Hump Day Roll Call

Happy Hump Day (aka Wednesday)! I think it's time for another roll call and introduction since so many of the "old timers" (Marla, Chaz, Marta, Flavia, Gail and so many more) have fallen off here lately. I dont post as often as I used to (funny how gaining my health back has given me an "off line" life ), but I read posts almost daily and I'm starting to feel like a stranger on here since I dont recognize many of you, so let's get a brief introduction and generate some fun conversation again! My life in a nutshell is pretty simple... I am a middle-aged single gal (I look much younger than my true age...thanks to my genes and Estee Lauder hehehe), I'm sharing her home with my Australian Shepard (Kiley) and three cats (Echo, Tigger and Lucy). I am a manager for a large bank but still haven't figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Thinking about going back to school for Human Resources or Organizational Psychology. I went to UF, so I'm a true Gator fan, even when they stink (like last weekend)! I currently live in Seminole County (Longwood/Lake Mary area) in the "money pit" (constant home repair) and hope to have a handyman sweep me off my feet some day LOL. I am dating again, taking it one day at a time and it's so nice to have attention from men that is positive and not negative from being obese (comments, staring, etc). Kinda have a boyfriend, but I asked him to slow it down a bit, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I have lost almost 200lb but have about 45 left to my surgeon's goal, then I'll fight for some PS. Anyway, since surgery...I walk, bike, hike and play frisbee...all things I hadn't done for many years, so it is a blast to be able to participate in life again rather than sit on the sidelines. Hi Amy, My name is Cyndee I live in valrico- Brandon.. I am married to a wonderful man.. We have 1 cat a main coon named Tubby Tux (for Fat tuxido) He is 28 pounds.. Yeah I know....... And we have a litter of pug pups that we will sale next month all but one and we have the mom and dad.. Nannook and juliette... 1 teen and 3 grown kids or should I say over the age of 27... (1 was mine) 2 are his.. I too am planning on going back to school after Christmas.. By then I should know what for I found that I can run again( after being cought in a rain storm) And to my amazement I was not out of breath...Wet but not out of breath. I am down 78 pounds and had my surgery 6/15...3/4 of the way to goal weght made by doc..and 45-55 away from mine.. Over all...Things are great... Hi Cyndee and Amy,,,, before any information on myself I must yell out the most important......I WANT A PUG!!!! but sure I can't afford one...anyhow I live in Holiday which is just north of Tarpon Springs or CLearwater....my surgery is 1 day and a wake up away...and the nerves are running wild I am a single parent of 4 children ages of 18, 15, 14, 7...the oldest lives with his daddy now that he graduated high school...I own 2 akita/lab girls named maxine and Isis...a 90 lb rottie who I am fostering I think forever for my sister whose name is Bruno and 2 cats (brother and sister) Harry Potter and Cleo....and thats about that ....for now anyway....story shall cont. after Friday April

You are so funny..I am selling my pugs with out papers for 395.00 the last litter I sold for 325.00 and barely broke even.. But these are great... Any way it was nice to meet you you too are a neighbor.. Cyndee

Hi again Cyndee, omg that price is sooo right...I have been looking for a pug that was within reason of price for well over 15 yrs but I could never afford one...I so wish I had the money now for one of yours...for once they are within a price I would pay but just don't have it....I hope you find wonderful homes for all of them...how many do you have?? and how many females??...I am partial to the little girls...I would love to see a picture of them if you have any....hope you don't mind me bugging you about them...I am so envious and jealous cause I want a little pug...will you be having any more litters after this one? cause maybe then I would be able to afford one when things are going better after my surgery...take care and let me know about those pics and I will give you my email April 1 day and a wake up

Hi Amy, I met you earlier this morning responding to a post I made last night. Thank you again for the warm welcome. I am 61 and have been married to a great guy for 14 years. We have no children together but I have had six kids from previous marriages. My second son was killed in a car accident when he was eighteen and the rest are grown with families of their own. I was born and raised in California and lived in Alaska for almost twenty years, and left in 1986. Since then I've lived all over the country. We settled here in Gainesville about five years ago. We like it here and have made some good friends. I am still pre-op and have been on this journey since April of this year. If all goes well I'm hoping for a date by the end of Oct. I've been a professional animal communicator for more the thirty years. Over the last ten + years I've been doing more and more phone consultations because of my weight. I look forward to getting back out there and being more psychically evolved with my clients as I love what I do. I have been posting on the "over 50's forum" since April but as my date gets closer I realize I really need a local support system to be involved with. OH has been a real treasure find for me. OMG.... I need your # first what do you charge??? I have two problems with my animals 1- my Main Coon Tubbt Tux has all of a sudden started craping in my Formal LivingRoom I don't know why or how to stop him he is 2 1/2 years old... 2- our male pug thinks he has to **** on any and every thing that is vertical.. Including some company as they are standing that is ssssssssoooooooo embarransing(sp) brain fart and getting old.. Help PPPPLeaseeee..Cyndee

Well Hi I am Jennifer and I am 24 living in Jacksonville, not married and no kids but my boyfriend and I live together and are planning the "next step" one day. Maybe when he finishes college (he is going to be an architect (sp) you know like Mike Brady. Ha ha ha ha I open on 6/9 I had lost 28 lbs before surgery and the last time i weighed was on my 3 month check up and I am down 80 lbs total, So i am alittle over half to get to dr's goal but I think that at about 150 or 140 would be just fine for me. But I go and have my 4 month check up on friday so I will post with my new numbers. Jennifer
