Dr. Murr - Consult Appt. Scheduled, Anyone use him????
Hi everyone. I've done everything Aetna POS Choice II plan has written in their Obesity surgery "must" area. All I have to do now is the consult with Dr. Murr on 10/10/05.
Usually, How soon do you get your surgery date after your consult, approval from insurance company, etc.???
Any pointers out there???

I had the man with golden hands as I call him. 
Consult was Nov 29 and approval was rec'd by Jan 11, surgery by 2-8. I am almost 8 months post op now. My ins. might have been slower or quicker than yours but I was told this is usual time. I look forward to seeing Dr Murr in Dec. I know you will enjoy your visit to the office, everyone there is just super duper in my book & very informative. I had to travel 140 miles for my appts and surgery but am thrilled with my results and TGH.
