No support in this neck of the woods other than this website where I had all my questions answered but I will be happy to answer any questions I can for you. HI Thanks to everyone who has posted! I think I am noticing a trend down here. Apparently we don't have many qualified surgeon's in SWFL - I will be having my procedure @ Cleveland Clinic - Weston. Other than this site there is no where to go for support. The local cleveland clinic in naples won't even TOUCH you even for a consult with out you paying out of pocket. It is absolutely ridiculous!!! I hope we keep in contact. I'm down 12 lbs since meeting with Dr Rosenthal's office in August. I hope everyone is doing well! Barbi

Is the consult in Naples that much? I have been doing it all self-pay, so I haven't paid much attention to how it's been adding up. There is a guy in the support group at Cleveland Clinic Naples who had his surgery done by Dr. Rosenthal, but lives in Naples. (I think there might have been another, as well.) It meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month and the nutritionist is usually there and sometimes there are guest speakers. I'm sure you would be welcome if you want to sometimes get support closer to home! Hi, I am moving to Englewood, FL within the next 6 - 8 weeks. I've been looking for the nearest Bariatric Support group in the area..... along with a recommendation for a reputable, good bariatric physician..... I'll be about 18 months out by the time we get moved there. Maybe I'll get the chance to meet some of you! Julie

Hi Brenda - Please let me know where @ CC-Naples the meetings are held. I would really like to join the support group. I can't afford to drive to Weston for the support meetings.
