I am post op now.

I had my surgery in Alabama on the 19th. I got home last nite. They let me leave a day early to avoid traffic from evacuees. We stopped 7 times along the way home to walk, so I would not get blood clots from pro longed sitting. I did it though. I am still pretty sore from surgery. Each day I get better though. The walking seems to do alot for the pain. I am glad to be home now. Vickie

Vickie, welcome home!!! And congratulations for being on the losing side!! I know that you're sore, that's to be expected, but you've already found out that each day gets better. Thanks Jan, I agree about the walking the doctor was right it does help the pain to walk. Plus its good for the heart.
