Celebration Health Walk from Obesity

Hey Everyone, This Saturday 9/24/05 the Walk From Obesity in the Orlando area will take place at Celebration Health at 8am. It's $25 to register to walk, you get a t-shirt and other goodies that we've been receiving from sponsors. We are usually done and on our way home by 9:30 a.m., so it's quick! The route is a one-mile walk, and you can walk around as many times as you can or would like to. We'll have coffee and waters and fruits and cheeses that morning....and some national sponsors are sending us some things to give out as well. The Tampa Bay area has their Walk From Obesity this past Saturday a the Westfield Citrus Park Mall, Indoors with A/C. About 75 people and we raised just over $2000.00. Of the walkers who had lost since their surgery we totaled just over 6000 lbs. We Hope you all do just as well or even better. Mike

Hi Mike: Just a little correction . . the Tampa group raised over $11,000 and lost over 6500 lbs. Wasn't it great?! We loved it and can't wait to participate again! Melissa & Dan

Rhonda, I have just returned yesterday from a vacation/family reunion in the mid-west, but would like to do this walk. Unfortunately, I returned feeling really sluggish and worn out, so I don't want to commit just yet. Do you know if we can register on site on that morning? Just curious... Amy P.S. Is your personal trainer still taking on post-ops? I emailed her once and never got a response, maybe I didnt have her email addy correct. Can you let me know? Thanks

And Ocala is having their walk on Saturday also. I believe it's being held at Tuscawilla Park and I am working there, so I'd better get my act together quick!! Jan 240/126/115 (at goal size)
