PLEASE HELP ME.....

I am having the hardest time finding a doctor in Florida that accepts Medicaid as a primary insurer. I've tried Shands and Cleveland Clinic(they used to accept Medicaid) and everyone else Ive come across. Until I find a doctor, the "Quest for the Holy Grail" continues. Will doctors from out of the state accept Medicaid of Florida? PLEASE HELP ME

Have you tried Dr. Cox in Ft. Lauderdale or Dr. Haicken in Largo. You might try Dr. Lord in Pensacola, I am not sure about him -- he is new to the state of Florida. I have no idea about the doctors out of state but I would think that because Medicaid is a state program you might have a hard time finding doctors out of state that would accept it.

Click on INSURERS up top on the OH menu bar. Then click on M and scroll down to Medicaid . Then look at the Profiles by clicking on their names. To find someone in your area and who they used.

Dr Cox in Ft Lauderdale. He is awesome I am about 5 hours away from him and it is more than worth the drive. Good luck to you. Kat

i dont know what type of medicade you have ,i have staywell health plan of florida which is a hmo,and used dr sosa in hialeah,it was a breaze went to the seminar,saw the dr ,got my medical records together and got a pproved in 4 days!had my surgery on aug 29th.if you have any further questions you can email me.GOOD LUCK!
