I am home....
Just a quick post as I am still not feeling well. I had my surgery on Thurs 9/8 and came home on Fri 9/9. Talk about a quick turn around. I felt ok the 1st day home but every since have felt sick to my stomach and have had diahrrah (spelling) I told Dr. Y he said it is normal. Today is the 1st day I have even felt like doing anything. Some days I wonder if I have made the right choice.
I hope I soon feel better. I have a Doctors appointment tomm. This feeding tube is ok but everytime I feed myself I feel sick. I feel like I dont even have enough engery to take care of my kids. I will post again soon.
Thanks for all the support
Cheryl

Cheryl, I am so glad everything went ok with your surgery. I had asked Dr y about you when I saw him on Friday and he told me that you got through everything great, he says you are one of his fav's.... Anyway I am sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, but it takes a couple of days untill you start to feel ok, I think once I was able to take a shower that I felt so much better, and then everyday it gets a little easier, so just take your time and make sure you are getting your rest. Oh as for the feeding tube it made me feel sick for the first couple of days I think that at about a week it started to not make me feel sick. when you go see Dr y he is probably going to remove every other staple and that helps alot. It gets much easier to get up off the couch to walk, then on your two week apt he will take out the rest of the staples so just hang in there you will feel better in no time. oh and Congrats on being on the losing side

Cheryl....glad you are home safe! LIsten girlfriend, who can help you care for your kids for a few weeks? You had major surgery. Of course you will feel sick, sleepy, and have no energy! YOu need to rest, so that your body can heal. Not worry about cooking foods, and caring for children.
Ask your doc about the feeding tube, maybe warming the liquids will help? You'll feel much better when it is out!
Please don't overdue.....you need time to heal, then all will be so much better.
blessings,
Tami
