Update on my weight loss
As of today I have lost 63.5 lbs! Unbelieveable! I am buying size 8-10 clothes, and wearing my daughters size 10 jeans! Can't believe this body is mine, as I am used to seeing something different in the mirror.
Feeling much better, adjusting and healing well from the gall bladder surgery on 8/19. Thanks for your prayers and words of encouragement.
I try hard to eat, sometimes just don't do as well as I'd like. But I manage to drink the remaining protein I can't eat. I feel like I'm eating alot some days, then others just bits here and there. The yogert goes down real well, and chicken and turkey. Red meat is still not my friend though. I did find a soy product, tempeh which is 19 grams of protein per serving. Fried it up with stir fry veges and it was really good. I discovered tofu too, if you coat it in corn starch and lightly fry it, it gets a crispy coating on it, you can season it with soy sauce. Kikoman has one with a citrus flavor which is really good.
Bacon helps when I'm despirate for protein. I did try the deviled ham in a can someone recommended, but that wasn't my cup of tea. Which reminds me I found a sugar free chai drink from General Mills international (coffee) drinks.
