1 year post-op
Hi everyone it has been a long time since I posted, but thought it would be good today to give pre-ops hope. I year ago today I had my surgery.Thank the good Lord it took me 20 months and 3 surgeons but I did it with No regrets. I have lost 160lbs and my personal goal of 43 more to go. I am thrilled I sent e-mails to my personal friends last night and got a response back from also a post-op buddy and she reminded the little things like crossing your legs like a lady and fitting in a booth she was so right . For all you pre-ops and those still deciding, when you read the profiles about some complications and even death as we seen posted here you have to really ask yourself are you ready. Well I was ready and told my children if I die, it was my time to go and only I can make the choice to go through with the risky surgery. But I made it and have had no problems wish I would have done it years sooner, but it was not meant to be so now I move forward with a healthy life style and a happy smile on my face. I wish all of the pre-ops the best of luck and just keep positive thoughts and look to a happy future to do the happy dance as we all have
Nancy
