i work in deland and live in Eustis, Does anyone know of a plastic surgon that does the arm lifts. It been 11 months since my surgery and I lost 135lbs but I still weigh182 lbs should I wait or go ahead and have it done. Also will blue cross blue sheild pay for the tummmy tuck. I know that they will not pay for the arm lift. Also I been on the same weight for 4 weeks any sujection on how to move the scale. I am doing protein, walking 2 miles a day and staying from carbs. Thanks in advance for your help

Check the front for plastic surgeon referrals or ask your surgeon. A gal inquired with our doc and he gave her a referral and that doc gave her a discount due to that referral. I'm close to you - in that I'm 11 months out and want to eventually to my arms to however I want to share what a group leader told us - she said to wait 2 years after losing weight/surgery as to that is when is a good time to get it done. For me I have yet 36 - 50 lbs I want to lose before even thinking about anything even though my arms were huge and are flapping now. But I will wait the full 2 years before doing anything. As the group leader said - she did her TT about 1 year out and wished she had waited cause she lost some more weight and now can't afford to do another tummy tuck...so she is stuck with what she did. Congrats on the weight loss - I have not lost that much weight and am going through another stall too. I have lost only 8lbs in 2 months so I'm frustrated too. But we can only continue to do the right thing, eating right, exercising, drinking fluids, and taking the vitamins. The weight will come off - our bodies are ever adjusting - keep doing the right thing - don't get discouraged.

I would like to suggest that you contact Dr Bosshardt or Dr Marzek who are in a practice together in Tavares. Their office is on Nightingale Lane across from Florida Hospital Waterman. I don't know if either of them do arms, but they probably do. My mom and aunt have both had breast reductions by Dr Bosshardt and a couple of my coworkers have had plastic surgeries by Dr Marzek. Both are excellent. I had gastric bypass on July 29, 2003 (Dr Jawad/Ocala) and have lost 113 lbs. I have been approved by my insurance (Humana) for a breast reduction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). I know that I am truly blessed to get that approval. My surgery is scheduled for October 4th.

thank you for the dr names. Congrulations on your weight loss. I glad that you are able to get the plastic surgery done. I think insurance should pay for tummy tucks and other surgerys. Wishing you a great recovery after your surgery. Keep me posted on how it went.
