I'm Officially Done!
Now I just need to send a memo to my body, but I decided that as of today, I'm officially at my goal weight. The number is sitting at 131 and it isn't moving, but I've lost another size and now I'm trying on and fitting into size 6. Most size 8s are too big and that's what my goal really was when I started this thing. I wanted to get healthy and I wanted to wear a size 6 and that's where I am. I think because of all the exercising I've built up some muscle that weighs more than my former fat. I'd like the number to be there, too, but I'm really more than satisfied.
Now I just need to get some counseling to be sure I don't outeat the surgery and gain it all back, and I'll really be happy!!!

Ahhh Jan! Congrats! this is a bit off topic but......
Thanks so much for for the visit Wed. Im sorry I wasnt better company but I was itching to get out of the hospital and get home.. I dont do well in hospitals! I drove the night nurse crazy walking the halls all nights!
Things have been up and down since I got home- Ive had a couple rough days, but Im feeling pretty good now.. I just need to learn to slow down and not to do too much at once..
Thanks Again- Congrats on being at your goal, and you do look absolutely GREAT!
Amber
Amber, you were great company!! I wasn't there for you to entertain me anyway, I was there as a resource for you if you had any questions or were panicking about what on earth you had done!!! I'm thrilled that you're doing as well as you are, and yes you do need to pace yourself or you will get tired.

Hi Jan,
Doing a happy dance for you. I remember last year at this time when you were preparing for surgery. I have been reading your profile ever since and I hope I am as successful as you. I smile each time I see one us make a goal and you are a great inspiration. I agree about the muscle. Think that is my problem. I've not moved the scale in weeks but my body feel very strong thanks to my pilates. Getting on that thing is very relaxing but I agree muscle does weigh more than fat. Congratulations you did a great job getting to your goal. Now don't run off and leave us.
