OT.... argggghhhhhh

I am so very upset!! I need to vent somewhere so you fellow Floridians are it. Last year I wa**** dead on by Hurricane Charley. More than $70K in damages to my home. It has been a tedious year fixing up the house, rebuilding my business and dealing with over 4000 of my own customers who had extensive losses too (I am an insurance agent) I thought that all repairs on our home were behind us except for the drywall and wallpaper in two bathrooms. Tonight at dinner I looked up at the ceiling. Coming out of the AC vent was green slimy mold!!! It seems like the damages are neverending, Here we are over 1 year later and still Charley haunts me. Everyone stay safe this weekend. It is going to be a wet one with Katrina on the way.

I had my surgery last year in the middle of Hurricane Frances! I left my home without power and sure enough, when I returned, we were still in the dark and it was soooo hot!! I'm sorry you've still got repairs to deal with! These hurricanes are really awful, so stay safe and dry!!

I feel your pain Laurie, I'm in the panhandle and to have Dennis so soon after Ivan was a true pain in the you know what! Not to mention, I work for a General Contractor, so work has not even been a "normal" thing! I pray Katrina stays a way! But just in case, I'll be filling the gas cans! (again, it will probably put me in the poor house!) Penny 10/29/02
