New to the Area

Greetings Floridians!! Ok, I moved to Florida in June. I had my bypass in April. I'm crazy I know. I however am in desperate need of a support group in the Sunrise/ft. lauderdale area..anyone help? I don't even have a surgeon down here to transfer to..anyone have any good advice. I'd love some help!! God Bless!

I love it here. I've been without a support meeting for a long time, so I'm trying to get to one. I've got some questions brewing that I can't get answered by a surgeon untill my insurance becomes active.

Hey Melissa, welcome to the area! North Ridge medical center is almost in my backyard! They are just north of commerical at dixie hwy, can't miss it! As a matter of fact, Dr Cox is having a meeting tomorrow night, the 25th at 730pm I believe. Give is office a call and they'll hook you up. They've been very friendly to me so far.
