HELP! Need a Psychologist!

I have United Healthcare & they require I see a psychologist but I can't find one that isn't going to charge me an extra $350 out of my own pocket before they will even see me for the evaluation. Does anyone know of a psychologist here in Jacksonville, Florida? I work near the corner of Kernan and Beach... PLEASE HELP ME!! This is my last step before submission for insurance approval.

call your ins company..;. and they will give you a list of drs that are covered by your ins company.

I'm in Jacksonville and I'm pre lapband. I saw the psychologist who was recommended by my surgeon. http://www.obesityhelp.com That's the website for my surgeon. Call and ask for Malissa. Tell her La Wanda told you to call and find out how to get in touch with Lori. Lori is a WONDERFUL person and a GREAT psychologist. I felt like she was a psychic the way she was "reading" me. And she has an office at Jacksonville Beach which, if you cna afford the gas, would be a nice day trip for you. if You called your insurance company as suggested by the other post and didn't find someone you wanted to go to, please call Malissa and ask her for Lori's information.
