back from the hospital
Well, I was right, it was gall bladder. Had an ultrasound on Thursday when I went to see Dr Kim. They found gall stones, and later that evening I had another attack and called him. He had surgery scheduled for Monday, but said if I was in pain not to wait. I chose not to wait. Went to the ER and had surgery Friday morning. My gall bladder was inflamed and he also fixed my umbilical hernia. So now I have a few more scars to add to my collection!
I was in the really posh room at celebration on the bariatric unit, room 206. With the balcony and extra table and space. I was only there one night, came home Friday and resting and taking pain medication.
Oh well, now I don't think I should have any more surgeries for a while! I praise God that He got me through, going through anesthesia is never a good thing. The power of prayer is strong!
Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes! Means alot!
Blessings, and hugs,
Tami

Tami,
Glad to hear you didn't wait and no its over. My surgeon removes the gallblader during RNY said 9 out of 10 will need it removed in less than 6 months so now I am really happy he did it.
I had surgery on Monday. Had a esphogus stricture and needed my stomach opening stretched. It was 8 millimeters and was stretched to 18. So far no more vomiting and I have been able to eat a few more things. Still would do it all again in a heartbeat. It's been 4 yrs since I saw 150's and I am trying for 120 by December.
