Hi everyone, well the person who told me that I was approved...LIED LIED LIED....I was denied..

..but...even though I was denied it is an easy fix to get approved according to my insurance company...they told me per a 30 min phone conversation today that all they received from my PCP was a referral for gastric bypass surgery on his script pad and didn't send in any of my medical records...so...the nurse in his office is writing my appeal letter and said she would try her best to get the letter and my WHOLE FILE faxed over to my insurance by tomorrow afternoon...and Staywell said that they were sure I would get approved as soon as they review my records...so please keep praying for me... thanks all April

p.s. Thank you ahead of time to everyone that responds...I appreciate all the wonderful thoughts and prayers...I don't always get back to thank everyone individually, so thank you one and all....

April, so sorry to hear but its not the end. Hope all goes well with you getting approved, keep the faith. I do have one question for you.....why didn't your surgeons office get all required medical records, referrals etc and send them in to your insurance, my surgeon has his patients gather as much info as possible then the office staff looks over it to see if everything is there to be approved by insurance. Anyway just hang in there it will all work out in the end. please keep us posted you'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a quick approval. Tammy
