first I had my surgery 7/28. and I showed up at 6AM they took me back pretty quickly. I was fist on the roster and before I knew it I was waking up in recovery. I loved my PCP pump, was sad when it was taken away. he was able to do it lap and I am happy about that. The worst thing about my hospital stay was htat I had my period and that absoulutly sucked! The GI test was horrible, it tasted like vomit. I have been good on the no nausua thing but am experiencing terrible pain at my G tube site, they said this was normal, but it hurts. Pain has been my biggest enemy so far, I am having trouble seeing an end to it. Eating is a chore, but I am getting in my protein and water, I gag a bit on the vitamins (building blocks). lost 18 lbs, since pre-opt diet.

Welcome home Amy! We are all here to encourage you along in your recovery! The G tube is uncomfortable, but it will be out soon. Protect your tummy with pillows, that helps. Rest, take your pain medications. You've been through alot. Blessings, Tami
