Hi Lynda, just wanted to thankyou for the idea of using IDS Vanilla Cinnamon in coffee. I have just now gotten around to trying it and it is sooooo good. I can't believe it is made with protein powder. Wow, this is the best. And another great protein suggestion was the power crunch triple chocolate bars....Oh my, they are wonderful. Anyway, just wanted to give you a personal thankyou. Wanda

Your welcome Wanda. Glad you liked it. It is how I start my day. Just be careful with the powercrunch bars. They are yummy--a little too yummy--and pretty high in the calories for protein ratio.

Speaking of protein...has anyone heard of Proscore 100 shakes? Someone recommended it over on spotlight and said that they actually taste good. Anyone? Thanks, Jen

Jen--I tried them. To me it was okay-not great. I am pretty sure Vitalady carries them and you can try samples--which is the best way to go. My favorite tasting chocolate protein is the Unjury-it really blends well and tastes very much like Quick. It is expensive though. IMO--they also have the best unflavored. For now my favorite is the ids vanilla-cinnamon and the Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel. I have found it helpful to rotate or I get bored with it like I did with Elite Chocolate mint. I loved the AchieveOne coffee protein drink that Bariatriceating sells.

Thanks Lynda! I know how important it will be to get my protein in post-op. I am going to print this post and look into those options. Jen
