HUGH DISAPOINTMENT!!!!!!

hey there towanda! oh no way,i am not going to give up now,i love dr.giovanni,but my mom taught me along time ago,when in need you need to trust alot of people..so after alot of reasearch i think i can trust danbury..march 14 will tell me alot mor,,wish me luck,and take care,,good hearing from ya too.love,,cyndee

I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Believe me, I have been through the wringer myself with insurance issues. Stay positive and forge ahead and I am sure good things will come out of this situation. Good luck at your Danbury appointment. Hugs, Nancy K

Hey Cyndee, Oh sweetie, I am so sorry you have to go through all of this. Its frustrating I know, but you will get there. Danbury Hospital is a great choice a dear friend of mine just had her surgery there and they were wonderful to her. I am so glad you are fighting this and moving one. You will be okay and you will do great. Just keep positive and be strong. You will get through all the steps and come out a winner. Good luck with your appointment and we are all here for you. oh,kim,,,,you always like towanda know exactly what to say dont you....thank you so much,,i know it will be ok,it just ****** me off that they waited till 2 days away from surgery and 6 days of liquid to tell me when they knew for awhile about this,that sets a flame under my butt...but however,danbury sweeps me up and picks up the pieces from where i left off,so it will be ok.maybe staying on the liquids with protien will help me lose too..lol...thanks so much kim,and don forget,put me in on the picnic...love,,cyndee---oh,thanks for always being there for me too...

Hi Cynthia, That really stinks about your insurance not covering your surgery! To get so close and have this monkey wrench thrown in. At least Danbury Hospital isn't making you start from the beginning!! I just wanted to let you know that I had surgery at Danbury Hospital almost 2 years ago. I have lost 126 pounds and have had NO complications. I also know several other people who had surgery there and they had no complications either. The doctors there are all awesome, and Catherine, the PA is great. Although she wasn't there yet when I had surgery, I see her at the support group meetings. She had the surgery herself, and is very involved with all the patients and their care. You can definitely trust Danbury Hospital, and the staff. Good luck to you! Anne

wow,anne,thank you so much for responding to my post,you really gave me a better feeling about it all..i was so upset,but like my friends all say,god does things for a reason,and i am totally confidant that i am making the right choice,i spent all day running around signing realease forms from other of my doctors to fax over my records,so i am going in totally prepared,,hope to meet you one day at one of the picnics or dances or support meetings,,thanks again anne,cyndee

Hey I am so sorry to hear that I will flip it taht happens to me so I have state insurance to u think that will be a problem oh my god i hope not cyndee i am so sorry for this so what happens now do u just meet w/ the surgeons there and do the surgery or do u have to go through everything again. write me back anytime i am here you know i always consider u my aunt so write me anytime. hi april, thanks babe,,i love you too! i dont think you will have too much problems,i am on disability medicare,its government and only will pay at certain hospitals,i will be ok though,i have apt in danbury on tuesday,wish me luck,and good luck with your journey too,,keep me posted,i e-mailed you a private letter as well,love to the family,,give gram kisses and lots of hugs for me,and tell her i love her...love ya....aunt cyndee
