Water Water Water!!!!
One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University study.
Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.
Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
(No kidding, all of the above is true...)

Thanks for that info...I have been really good about drinking my water...not quite 64 oz...but pretty close. My skin is the best it's been in yrs..and I attribute it to the water. I had some minor rosesca in the past(?sp) and its totally clear...oh it could be Maggie's Mary K foundation I am using..I love it!! When Maggie feels better in the spring...I want to have a MK party at my house...and invite all my CT msg board buddies.
Oh yeah..this was abou****er...how easily I get off the subject!
Hugs to all
Joanie

I have to say I posted this because I have been struggling to get enough water in every day. I don't have the problem with water that I had before (it used to hurt going down)...but I have trouble REMEMBERING!
It must be my "retirement brain" that forgets to drink.
I got a can of Carb Options (Stop and Shop) Lemon Iced Tea mix....it's made with Splenda and has no caffeine...therefore it counts towards my water total. It tastes great and helps me to get the fluid count up.
Regarding rosacea, I would be interested in ANYTHING that helps with this condition. With this cold weather, my face is getting worse. I can see little blood vessels in my cheeks now. I don't like it! After a lifetime of having beautiful skin (no pimples when I was a kid)...it really disturbs me to have this red face!
I love MaryK products...count me in when you have the party!

98lbs GONE!
I know I don't drink nearly as much water as I did pre-op. I would dring 20+oz at a time and now I have to drink so much slower... I have to get used to the constant drinking. Although it is getting better, after reading this I will try harder. I knew water was good for you, but didn't realize the extent of it's benefits.
Thanks Ann!
