Hi Gangs, Come on and put your excercise log on this post ! I promise I will be helping you or cheer for you for doing excercise for ten or 15 min or longer!!! I will meet my trainer tonight to do hard work excercise at 600 pm. Also I will put my excercise log tomorrow early morning because I will do my excercise for 20 min before I will leave early to be there for Lauren M. at Yale hospital. Smile! Hi Kathy I went to water aeobics last night and really did a lot of upper body exercises..my arms are sore this morning! I will do the two mile walk aerobics tape tonight! Hugs Joanie

KATHY!!! I Can finally contribute to your exercise log!!! I am going to the gym tonight for the first time in over 2 years... I have a meeting with a trainer at 4:15 so there is no backing out. He will help me with a routine and we can change it up as time goes on. How soon did you start doing weights? My goal for today: 15 minutes on the elliptical 15 on the treadmill 15 on the bike 15 stretching Hugs, Beckie

I started doing weights after 4 weeks since my surgery. That is good idea to have trianer to show you proper ways to prevent your back or pulled your muscles. I am so proud of you that you went to Gym!!! Kathy K

I am getting into the shower as soon as I finish reading the message boards to go to the gym. I plan on doing: 30 min treadmill 30 min eliptical 60 min aerobic class and 2 circuits of weights I never would have beleived that I would have been able to exercise like this six months ago. I so wish I had done this surgery years ago! How often do you meet with your personal trainer, Kathy? I meet with mine once a week. I have found it to be SO helpful. I was doing a multitude of things the incorrect way and now am getting so much more benefit out of the exercises. Eileen

Hi Eileen I met my trainer, Linda Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and asked her to be tough coach on me SMILE! Yes I find this so helpful and help me to stay motive in excercise one to one for an hour with her. Good job for your excercise today SMILE! Think size pant 16 in the spring time ! You can do it! Wow, three times a week! That is awesome. I think we would be in the poor house though, lol. We are a single income family as I am a SAHM so I just go once a week. My girlfriend had surgery 18 months ago and the other day gave me bags full of her old clothes all in a sizes 14-18 for the spring/summer so as long as I fall somewhere in that range I will be a happy camper. I can't beleive how small the size 14 pants look! I can't beleive that I am actually going to be that size and not in the too distant future! Thanks for being a great cheerleader Eileen
