To Dr Aranows tomorrow for a fill

Hello All Tomorrow I will be going to Dr Aranow for my second fill......the first one did'nt work at all. The only weight I lost so far was when I was on the liquid diet. I hope this tightens my band enough so that I will not want to eat everything in sight. I am very happy to see all of you doing so wonderfully......but I am very discouraged I was really hoping to have lost more weight by the three month mark. I'm afraid I have been gaining weight and I dread getting on lthat scale tomorrow I know some people need to have their bands tightened several times to get it to the point where it works and you can start to lose weight I hope tomorrow will be my lucky charm everyone keep up the good work and I am looking forward to the shower sunday.....if Mother nature is nice Hugs angel

Angel, Hang in there chickie! It does get better. A lot better! Just wait until you have the proper fill amount. It took two fills for me to get proper restriction. Now I am comfortably losing 3-4 pounds a week. I have lost a total of 63 pounds thus far. I didn't lose hardly anything until after my second fill. Just give it time. The weight loss isn't quite as fast as with the bypass but in time we can all catch up Feel free to email me anytime you have any questions or if you just want to vent. I'm hoping for you to Angela. I was originally going to get the band as well at first. The people I talked to said it did take some adjusting to get it right. They all had tremendous success with it. Hugs, Maggie
