Good Morning Calif......

Wakey Wakey.... I have been awake since 2 AM and I am pissed about that. I was going to get up and go to the gym, but thought better of that since I have to work today and my sleep was not all that great. UGH!!! I know its stress over having to go into work today and clean up the mess from yesterday. The clerk called off yesterday and they wanted me to work for her, but I just could not say yes and go in. (at you proud of me Steph) Yap, I said nope! Of course I might be crying today, but it sure felt great yesterday....

So DD and I put an offer in for a house for her. Now the waiting game starts. I dough they will take the offer but one never knows. I expect a counter offer at much higher then what we offered. LOL We cut the price in half and made the offer. Lets keep our finger crossed. I am sure the bank is rolling in laughter but then maybe not, right?

So what has everyone been up to? Nothing much with me. I went over to a friends house on saturday and we moved rocks. A whole truck load. We are not talk small rocks we are talking big, heavy rocks. We put them along her face line and around her trees. Then what was left over we moved to out front (her front yard) and used them at her yard/sidewalk line. I have to say, it looks really good. I expected to be sore but nope, I was good. Then on Sunday we watched the game. I don'****ch football as a rule, but I sure enjoyed yelling the TV. LOL

Ok time for coffee and to think about getting ready for work. Or should I call in. LOL OK NO I wont do that.

Lu, I'll keep you and DD in good thoughts and prayers that something comes in positive for the house.  If it's meant to be it will be and it certainly sounds like it's your time.

Not much going on in my world, working and coming home as of late.  I went to a leave of absence seminar yesterday in Sacramento with 2 other co-workers and came back to the office late and worked a bit so I won't be so behind today.  The seminar was good but way too much info packed into too little time, our heads were swimming.

Whaaaatttt!!!  You drove by my office...no phone call, no wave...what happened to lunch????? I didn't even hear the horn honk!!  Boy..what are ya gonna do with friends like that???   And to think MoMo went thru here just a week or so ago...Guess I need to talk to the Gov'ner about making the SACRAMENTO sign  bigger LOL  Glad to hear you had a safe drive...highway was ugly when I tried to go home at 4pm.

Wish I had known about the seminar...put on by???  Sounds like something I need to know how to handle.

Hey Nancy,

If I didn't have two of my co-workers in the car, I would have stopped by or called for sure.  The seminar was put on by CASBO, and was all about school district and Education Code,so not too much help with labor code leaves of absence.

Sorry GF, you know I would have stopped if I could have.  I was up on Mather AFB and the Sacramento County Office of Education.  Up and back to work. 

We stopped at Perko's for lunch, what I had was not so good.  I should have stuck with a breakfast but thought a salad and some chicken was a good idea.... not!  Oh well live and learn.

Morning Lu and Cali,

well the day is really progressing!  I have finished up some work and starting a new one...well at least I have work.  It was so nice yesterday that I went out and pulled weeds for an hour.  Our side yard has weed block, but with the wind, the seeds sit on top and if there is enough moisture they grow!!  They are easy to pull, just a hassle to get to.

I am enjoying this weather for sure, going to walk today, I am up to around 5.5 miles according to the mile markers at the lake.  Today I am going to try and make it 6.  I have two hours so should be able to do it!!

Whoo Hooo...you gonna run circles around the rest of us at Bay to Breakers!  I'm still at 3mi but working on endurance...6mi in 2 hours sounds really reasonable...but what if we're yakking away while walking the race??? LOL Keep up the great job, D...you're my inspiration ^_^

Good Afternoon Lu, Barb, Dolores,and Cali Friends,

Guess what I did this morning?  Yes, I cleaned my house. I still have to put the laundry away but I really feel like I accomplished something! I am leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow morning. I will come home on Sunday. I can't be away from my sweetheart on Valentines Day. I had a great weekend. I went to the Fresno Savemart Center on Friday and say Leeann Womack, Reba, and GEORGE STRAIT! We had so much fun. They were all great. Melissa Peterman came out while Reba was singing to plug her new sitcom on CMT. Melissa Peterman played Barbra Jean on Reba's show. They were so funny together. Sunday I went to Cathay's Valley to my scrap booking class, I haven't been since last July, and Sunday my DH and I watched movies that I borrowed from my friend. We went to check on Ryan and my DH and son finished watching the football game. Ryan has a viral rash all over his little body. The doctor said she saw 3 other kids with the same thing yesterday when Lisa took him in. I guess Devan will be next.

Well Lu, I am proud of you for saying no to working extra. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for DD to get that place.

Barb, sounds like your brain needs a rest. I am glad you learned a lot though.

Dolores, good luck on making the 6 miles.

Come clean my house Elizabeth!! LOL  I've got the laundry done and put away (did on Sunday)...Lon has mopped the kitchen and bathrooms...see, not 'much' rest to do!

And that concert!!!  Oh Oh OH!  I am soooo jealous!  I told you what the tickets were going for...and that was just the 'nose bleed' section...forget about the risers or the floor.  Sure glad it was worth the trip for you...but then, Reba?, George?...LeeAnn???  How could it not be?  And Melissa was just an added bonus.  I watched her new show on Saturday(?)..and Reba played the new girlfriend of Melissa's ex....it was soooo comic and deju vu...the roles reversed LOL

Hope Ryan gets over the rash soon...any idea what the 'trigger' was?

Afternoon Lu and Cali crew
Today is hooky from work day...just haven't been getting enough sleep and needed to stay in bed.

Had a great weekend...on Saturday all the state museums had free admission so Lon and I went to the State Automobile Museum and then down to Old Town to the State Military Museum.  Tried to go to the zoo but it was just that...a zoo! Couldn't get close to the entrance...traffic was snarled up for blocks on end.
On Sunday we took out the motor scooters and went up to Folsom to Sutter Street.  Alot of the individual shops and boutiques are gone...so sad...but our favorite Chinese restaurant (Hop Sings) and Snooks Chocolate Shop are still there...they make the best SF caramel candies ;-)

Other than that, not much going on but work and waiting for spring ^_^
Lu, sure hope your offer on the house goes thru...you never know in this market...some people are desperate to sell.  Hopefully, their counter won't be unreasonable.
Weather is gorgeous, even if cold and windy...the sun is shining and I don't have to deal with driving thru the fog ^_^

We were in the nose bleed section. We went with Golden Charms Tours and expected much better seats. We still had fun though. One of my Red Hat Sisters that went is 86 and we had a hard time keeping up with her. She was swooning over George Strait as much as we were! I watched Melissa Petermans show too. The one with Reba was so cute. They looked like they were having fun. It really was the best concert I have ever been to. That George is so SEXY (I know they will **that one out). I think Reba must have perfect pitch. LeeAnn is so short! They were all great. 

Well I will come finish your housework you just keep waiting for me! LOL!
