Not telling employer about surgery :|

I did not tell my employer.  I also found my surgery a very private matter and did not feel comfortable discussing it.  I just told my boss and my group I was having a minor surgery done and I took a week of sick time.  This way I don't have people watching what i eat or spreading rumors.  I don't like to think about people thinking about my weight loss.  My co-workers have seem me go up and down over the years so no one has said anything to me yet about my weight loss.

I didn't tell my employer , until after my surgery. Just because I didn't want to hear there stories.
