I need to explain......

Annette you are going to find on these public forums that there are a lot of crazies out there....and it is easy for them to hide behind the screen and spew their negativity to you. You will have to get a thick skin for some of cruddly that goes on around here!

All of us have the right to have this surgery for whatever reason we want to have it. I cannot think of a better reason than what you said in your previous post. Let that SOB walk a day in your shoes....let them be sick and barfing from chemo and burnt from radiation and then have the audacity to spew the same words.

All of us would like to know who the poophead that said it to you too!

And you know what...what in hell is wrong with wanting to look good....looking good lifts the spirits and we all know when we get depressed....whatta we do? EAT!!!

So you go on girlfriend with your bad self and I hope you blow the socks off of everyone in your path because you are already beautiful inside and out!

  

Annette this cruel person has no clue who you are or why you want the surgery. I have spent time with you and as someone almost 6 years years out I know that you are doing it for all the right reasons. I have dealt with alot of pre ops in this time and yes there was some who choose for the wrong reason but my dear sweet Annette put what this person said out of your head and think positive thoughts. Annette...I agree with EVERYONE here!  I too have had my share of nastiness here...but for the most part...I have had nothing but GREAT support from my OH friends...Wipe the dust off your bike and get ready for the ride of your life!!! Cheri

Excuse me??  But WTF??? I'm kind of disappointed that someone did that, and I'm sorry they made you feel so bad. 

Congrats on your upcoming date, you're in for a wonderful transformation and a healthier life...enjoy every moment of it. 

I am most definitely healthier than I was almost 9 months ago when I was over 300 lbs at surgery.  To be quite honest, I'm all about the vanity too!  I look way better, I have a waist. clothes look better on me, and you should see me in a dress & high heels!!! 

So yeah, I was partly motivated to have surgery so I'd look better.....now send me a message telling me I was wrong. I dare you.

Give me that name and I will take care of that for you. (jk)  What an ASS!!!!  The ONLY person you need to worry about is YOU.  You do the surgery for whatever reason you want to and it's no one elses business.  I would have just written them back and said "Bite Me"!  I frankly don't care what anyone thinks, and I speak my mind.  There is no room on this board for people like that.  Guess it's all the hot Italian blood that runs through me and my little short fuse.  Just remember this Annette,  while you don't wish ill on that person, what goes around comes around.  Maybe not today, tomorrow or a month for now, but mean spirited people end up in poop and don't always get what they want in life because of that kind of attitude. UNFORTUNATLY SOME PEOPLE SPEAK BEFORE THEY THINK AND SOME DON'T THINK AT ALL. LIKE YOU SAID THEY DON'T KNOW YOU, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR ABOUT. 

BESIDES IF YOU WANT TO DO IT FOR LOOKS WHAT'S IT TO THEM. HECK WE ALL IN SOME WAY DO IT TO LOOK BETTER, I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY SAY.

THE MAIN REASON WE ALL DO IT IS TO LIVE A LONGER HEALTHIER HAPPIER LIFE. NO ONE CAN TELL WEATHER YOUR GOING TO FAIL OR NOT, HOW SILLY IS THAT.

I AM SO VERY SORRY YOU ARE HURTING SO BAD, THAT WAS TOTATLLY UNCALLED FOR. I WOULD NOT LET SOMEONE MAKE YOU FEEL BAD EVER. 

PERSONALLY I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT AND WHY YOU ARE DOING IT AND YOU ARE THE ONE THAT COUNTS.
