I need to explain......

My previous message was brought on by a private message telling me that I was having surgery for the wrong reasons and that I was going to fail because I was doing it for my looks. And a few other things I cant remember. It really hurt and I am still crying that someone that does not know me would say something so cruel. It doesnt matter who said it, I just hope that they never have to feel what they did to me. Annette

I am so sorry some rude SOB that dont know you, or your reasons why, NOT that they matter to ANYONE but you, was mean. I guess there lifes are so small that they have to pick on others to pick themself up. The reason I had the surgery was to have a new start on life, YES to change my looks and to improve my health. But there was other reason, But the biggest was I done it for ME!! And I don't give a rats behind what others think or say. I done it for me!! Just as you are doing it for YOU!! You are the best reason to have this surgery. YOU are not going to fail, because you are doing for YOUR reasons and they are what are going to push you and keep you right. Don't let that small minded person hurt you, you should pitty them, they need to get a life.

OMGosh, some people need to get a life!!! It kills me when people on OH do things like this! We get enough discrimination and **** from the world, we shouldn't have to deal with it here in our WLS support site!!!!  Don't you dare let anyone take this GREATNESS away from you!!! We knew what you meant and it really is noones business why you are doing the surgery anyway, it is YOUR life!!! We are behind you sweetie and don't forget that!!!!  this is to the PM person   and this is for you...     Becky

Ya know thats a really good point! Our community should be all about supporting each other, since we get a LOT of adversity/ridicule/crap from "outsiders" who do not understand. Shame on whoever it was that tried to bring you down Annette!

BTW, I don't know about anyone else, but getting skinny to look better is pretty damn high on my list!

If this person had a point that they felt needed to be said, why did they PM instead of saying it here? My guess would be becuase they knew they where wrong, so they hide.

I agree, I done this surgery to get skinny and to look good, feel good and to have a life. But they are my reasons, and if others dont like them. tuff stuff!!!!!

I say AMEN to Shells!!!  I love having people tell me that I'm "getting tiny"!!!    Phooey on whoemever told you that....the nerve!!!!   To them!!! 

Annette, I am so sorry that some spiteful person felt compelled to attack you.  You know who you are and  why you do what you do.  So you owe nothing to ANYONE but yourself.  Loving youself enough to do this is testament to what an amazing person YOU are.  And rest assured, what you were made to feel is possibly what they are feeing which is why the acted out that way.   Stay the path honey......
