Hey everyone,

Hope all is well in your individual worlds.  One big bit of new for us is that our son just got a great job with Blue Cross of AR!!!!  Finally, a good job, good pay and benefits!  Mom's always worry, even when they're older and married.

Okay, here's yesterday.  Keep on posting folks, it let's me know how everyone is!

susan..........how do you make your latte?? I am a new coffee drinker ya know.......never drank it until the twins moved in......lol.....came out of surgery wanting coffee and a coke.

Well, to make a latte you need an espresso machine because it's steamed milk and espresso. BUT there is a drink called a "Misto" (you can order one at Buck's) that is steamed milk and coffee.  Those you can make at home.  For a misto, you'd heat about half a coffee cup with milk ( non fat or 1-2%) and some flavored SF syrup, then fill it up the rest of the way with coffee.

Coffee with protein powder

1/3 cup salad shrimp with 1 tsp ****tail sauce

1/2 cup beef fajita meat with onion and bell pepper

1/4 cup soy nuts

8 0z skim milk with protein powder

I have offically hit the 180's today! I weighed 3 times to make sure, it said 189.5, it seems like i was stuck at 196 forever and then last thursday hit 192, now 189.5. I love my band!!!!!

breakfast -unsweetened tea(daughter was in dr.'s office getting cast) no time to eat


lunch - jr burger at sonic, unsweetened tea

snack- handful of peanuts

supper- cheese and crackers( i had made smoked sausages for family for supper, after 1 bite , knew i couldn't eat any more of it)

Well, I finished bulding the pergola last night and got to sit under it and have a cup of coffe this morning before work.   It was still standing this morning so I guess I did OK with it.  Still trying to fight off this silly cold - had to sleep in the recliner last night so I could breathe (grumble/grumble).   Gonna play in a golf outing this afternoon with some work buddies who are in town from around the country.  That beats working in the office any day.   Hope all of you have a great day.  Well, here are yesterday's Eats:

Hey all,

Things went pretty well food-wise yesterday.  Hubby and I had a come-to-Jesus with our teenager about her grades, so that was fun (not).  They're so much easier when they're little.  Fortunately, I only grabbed a sf popsicle when it was over.  It would have been so much worse before the rny.

I exercised yesterday AM and had planned to again today, but I didn't quite make it out of bed in time.  Maybe tonight?

Here's eats:

B-fast: most of a piece of string cheese
Lunch: 1 c beef/veg soup and 1/2 c nsa fruit ****tail
Dinner: 1/2 small turkey & cheese melt w/ranch dressing
Snack: 2 popsicles and 2 pieces sf candy

Yesterday started off great and went downhill from there.
Black Coffee, u/s tea and lots of it all day long!
1/2 ham & cheese sand minus the crust, couple of cheese puffs
then I decided, about 4:00, to grap a couple of malted milk balls........MISTAKE....BIG MISTAKE OMG I stayed down until 10:30 last night. I only wanted a couple...NEVR AGAIN..Have I told you I hated chocolate? I got them wretched things outta my house and NEVER want them again. Chills, fever, shakes and then comode huggin sick! This went on for 4 hours! That was the 1st real time I have gotten sick since surgery! OMG we had company last night....well they had company while I was in the bed!
Lesson learned!
