just checking in...................

for those of you who dont know I have fallen off the gym wagon.......it was either gym membership or gas.....I could work out at home but feeling a bit lazy........I wa****ting it hard for months.....my body is exhuasted.

I agree with susan........hot dogs and processed foods are convenient and not too healthy. Lunchables are the worst......most packed with sodium and very little protien. But we have all been there to where that may be our healthiest option at that moment. Ground beef is not the best option either.......me must look into lean options.....turkey, chicken and fish and. seafood. I have such a hard time because I am very very picky and can not get in enough calories so my metabolism had slowed/stopped and my body is storing what I take in as fat.

anyhow........this is our way of life now.......do it right the first time.......

Oh yeah I went to a lapband seminar......because I was bored......I am RNY.....anyhow I met Kaliah Ali (mohammed ali's daughter) Dr Michael Roizen (co author of you on a diet) and Kaitlyn Van Zandt (guiding light and sopranos). My daughter and I went it was free and she got out of the house....she is 4 month pregnant....not a joyus event......threw away college for a boy and now a baby is on the way.

Ok enough of that. Why dont we plan a weekend day for lunch. I can drive it......

Tammy,
I feel you on the workout wagon, since I have started work, its been really hard.  I am trying to walk every day and ride my horse, so I can at least tighten my thighs and big butt.

Glad you had a good time at the event, sometimes its nice to see information on the other surgery options.

Sorry your daughter made the choices she made, but know we are all here if you need to talk or vent or need help spoiling the little one when it gets here.

Have a great week, and holler sometime,
Hugs,
Rhonda D.

Hey Honey, glad to see ya!

I'm meeting most of the Walk committee tonight for dinner to rehash the event and do thank you cards. It will be nice to see the ladies, they're all very nice to spend time with.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get to the gym to start weight training. Gotta get some muscles on this bag of bones body.

Gotta run, you take care!  Let's figure out if there is somewhere we can eat 1/2 way and we'll try to get a gang together.

Hugs

Susan

I wish I could join a gym - even if it was just long enough to see if I liked it or not.  I'd at least like to be able to give it a TRY!

BUT alas... the one bad thing about living out in the country is everything is farther away.  The closest gym that I know of to me is in Hot Springs which is 30 minutes each way - and that's if it's on MY side of town.  (The one I was looking at before is NOT.  It's out by the HS Mall which is on the OTHER side of town - about 45 minutes from me.)

It is EASY to fall off the exercise wagon all together - much easier if it's costing you $$$$.
