What's up?

The board has been kinda quiet lately.  I hope that's just because everyone is outside getting lots of vitamin D from the great sunny weather we've been having.   I have been soaking up the sunshine and getting some outside projects done.   Been adding a pergola over part of the deck.   Got the hard part finished and now can just work on finishing the rest throughout the coming week.   Sometimes I take on too much, but I have enjoyed this project since the weather has been so great.  Should have burnt off a bunch of calories in last few days.   We'll see what the scales have to say later this week.   What are you doing?  Let's hear from everyone.

I'm around again now that my mom is out of the hospital.  (She's doing GREAT by the way!) 

I have been SOOO busy with work lately that I'm under a LOT of stress - but now that I'm at least HOME again, I'll be on daily again.  (I'm working 2 special projects at work myself.  Only neither of mine is really any fun.  LOL)

I did get out to run some errands and do some grocery shopping today though.  Believe it or not, that was the most fun I've had all week. 

I fed both the dogs a bag of cheap hot dogs.  (They LOVE them and I give in... what can I say?)  And I petted the puppies for a little bit this afternoon. 

I've also cleaned a little house today, and it still needs more. 

So not same old same old really - but then again... same old same old.  How about everyone else???

What's up with me?  Well I've been very, very busy developing a new business with my DIL.  What started out as a little project has turned into a full fledged enterprise.  We've gotten our business license, a graphic artist to make our logos and labels, supplies are on their way, and hopefully, buy the 15th of the month Saint Bella Bath and Body will be on the shelves at two boutiques....one in the Heights and the other in WLR.  All of the products are paraben free (some studies show a link to ovarian and thyroid cancer), no animal testing, and vegan (where possible). Bath salts, body scrubs, shower gel, bubble bath, lotions and some of the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used (in 32 years that says a lot!)

We know that this is a crazy time to start a business, but we already have locations ready to take them on and very positive feedback from those who have tested them.

So, between the business, my salon business, the husband, house, dogs and some time for fun I'm hopping!

How exciting.  Good luck with Saint Bella.  Economic times are not the best but people still have to keep clean.  I'll have to try some of your products, or at least let Dian try them.  You know how we guys are -- a bar of Zest and whatever shampoo is in the shower.  Maybe Saint Bella will convert me to something better.  Best of luck.

Hey gang,
Been busy as a 2 legged cat covering poo!!!  Went to Texas Thursday, and Friday worked like a lil turkey running from the big boys.  Saturday I worked in Flossies Funnel Cake booth at the largest craft fair in Arkansas (Tate Barn Sale, Camden) for 9 hours.  Sunday I just kicked back and relaxed for a bit.  Then went to "the barn" and cooked deer steak for the gang there.

Today its back to work, but w/o my boss!!!  Will prolly work harder with no one here to interrupt me.
Glad to see Steve back and doing great!!  We missed you while you were gone.  And Im glad Susan finally unveilled the business stuff.  Ive been really curious as to what you and DIL were gonna be doing.  Now you just gotta get a web site going so we can all order!!!!!  Like you have time to do anything else!!

As soon as the labels are printed we can get them onto the bottles, then Gary will set up our website. Until then, you'll all just have to wonder and be surprised

Hello all!!!  I was busy scrapbooking and fishing all weekend!!!  We held a scrapbook retreat here at the church camp lodge and there is a beautiful lake there too!!!  So I went and bought my license and fished in the evenings and mornings while 7 of us girls were there to scrapbook too!  Got lots done on my cruise album and had a wonderful time chatting and laughing with the girls!!  Only down note was when I called my son to tell him good night he was nearly crying and said, "Mamma pease come home-I miss you Super Duper Bad!!!!"  LOL!!  He's so sweet at 5 years old!!!

Hi, noticed your from Wynne. I live in Forrest City and had surgery in mid-July. There are several of us wanting to start a support group here, we all had surgery in Jonesboro and it is to far to drive for a hour of talking and then home. Good luck on your surgery coming up. Robyn
