Praise Report and Prayers Needed

i wanted to thank y'all first of all for praying for my grandmother. her back is slowly, but surely, getting better. she's been to the chiropractor several times and it has helped her a good bit.

i also need to ask for prayers for myself. i sent a gift card to exchange with a friend over 3 weeks ago by priority mail, and it has not arrived. we can only presume it is lost in the mail. i've called my post office twice, hers once, postal service customer service several times, postal service consumer affairs twice, and every other number they'll give me, and no one can help me. this was a sizable gift card, at least for me...i worked for 7 months to earn that money, and i can't afford to lose it. well, i found out today that there's a possiblity it can be reported lost and REPLACED! HALLEUJAH! all i need is some help from the rewards company i earned it through, which i'm not sure they can or will give me, so i need prayers that my gift card number and purchase receipt can be found so that the gift card can be reported lost and replaced. i've been so down about this whole situation, even though i personally didn't lose it, i feel like it's my fault. please pray with me that it will be replaced.

thank you Carmen it means the world. i don't want to get my hopes up, because i've had such rotten luck with this situation the past 3 weeks, but i know God is good and he can work it out.

Donya that gift card can still turn up in the mail. I to have had a problem like yours for 2 years in a row. I know it was the mail system as both of mine finally got to the boys. I mailed the boys when they lived in Fla a book for Christmas, had their names, date and my name on the inside so it should have been easy to find. It was mailed the first of December and it finally got to them in March with the package all torn up. The next year I mailed them a DVD of a Christmas story and it was mailed the first of December and it took 2 months. Don't count on the postal system giving you any help as I called everone from Birmingham to Atlanta and could get nothing done.  After they moved the found out the mail man would hold mail and turn it back in. I hope that it turn up I know how frustrating it can be. Hope that you can it replaced.

Glad your gramma's doing better.

I'm praying for your gift card to show up.  I wonder if those things have numbers on them so you could at least ask the company if it had been used yet.

I have done mail order for decades and have only had the post office lose ONE thing so far, but I have had MANY things go missing, only to finally arrive a couple of months down the road.  So hopefully your gift card will eventually show up at its destination.
