I got approved and a date!!

Ok so, I am so excited!!  I wake up check my voicemail and find out.....I HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY AETNA!  After months of taking diet pills, and dealing with a dr I cant stand, its finally over....

 

My New birthday will be Feb. 2nd!  and I have so much to do before then.  Umm, what do I need to get before surgery, will I need a food scale?  I have seen other ppl use smaller plates, spoons etc.  Is that really needed?  

 

Anyone claim short term disabillity or anything like that?  How do I go about that process?

 

I got to pay off all those credit cards so I can go shopping when I start to drop pounds!  Woot!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!  You will need some chap stick, something loose and comfortable to wear from the hospital and protein shakes.  I do not think you will need disability.  I was only off work 2 weeks.  I don't use food scales and never have.  Your pouch will tell you when you are full.  Believe me, you will know when to stop.  You can use smaller utensils, but you don't have to.  I am thrilled for you!!!!  Best wishes are with you.

I am so happy for you. I was so happy just to get my apts scheduled. I had my second apt today at BWI. I have my 3rd apt with Dr. Facundus on Jan 13. I can not wait to have this surgery. I have studied it for so long and it seems that each time I get close something knocks me back down. I am from Athens also. Keep me informed on how things r going for  u. I wish U the best of luck.
