Prayers needed

Hi Everyone. I'm asking for some prayers for my son Sean. He is having surgery tomorrow morning to remove his tonsils and adenoids. He continuously has sinus infections and the doctor believes removing his adenoids would cure the sinus problems. He is 4 years old and doctor seems to think this is the perfect time to do this. Not only does he have lots of sinus problems, but he is a heavy breather and snores as well. So, the surgery will hopefully cure a lot of problems he has been having. I'm confident everything will be fine, but I'm not sure how well Sean will cope with this. Please pray that he will come out of this and recover quickly. Momma (that's ME... lol) has stocked up on the jello, popsicles, pudding, ice cream, abc 123, spaghetti o's, and some soups (if he'll eat them). And I have lots of Tylenol to help out too. (Is there anything else that would help??)  If anything he'll be on a sugar high by new years... lol. I'm asking God to give me alittle more patience as well. I have been short tempered with him lately because he hasn't been feeling good and he's whiney all the time. I'm pretty sure its the holidays and the stress that comes along with it. I pray hoping I'll be able to get through the week taking care of my Lil Man!! I'm ready for the new year and to be able to start fresh and on the right foot. Thanks to everyone who has listened to me!

Sending prayers out for both mom and son!  My 3 yoa granddaughter just had this done a couple of months ago and she sailed through it like a trooper.  He'll have a very sore throat for a while, but hopefully he'll be a quick healer.  Keep us posted on how things go.

I'm praying for you and your son Sean.  My son Cody had his tonsils and adenoids removed a year ago this month.  At that time he was 4 1/2 years old.   Sounds like you have stored up on everything that will help make him comfy.  Know that after his surgery, he will have really bad breath for a while due to the healing of his throat.  Just remember to push the liquids as much as you can and give him Tylenol for the pain.   My son wasn't himself for about a month, but since his recovery he has done really well.  In the beginning we were going to the doctor 3 times a month too maybe 3 times since his surgery.    All children are different so I pray for fast recovery for him as well.

Praying for you and Sean.  My two nieces  had their tonsils out the week of Thanksgiving.  They were always sick and sinus problems and Katelyn snored really bad. They were back at school the next week.  They had no problems.

Karine:
I will be praying for you and your little one.  When I had my tonsils out, I could eat popsicles and egg drop soup fairly well.  Ice cream was a little to thick for me.  Just make sure that the soups do not have a lot of sodium because it burns....(salt in a wound).

Take care,
Rhonda
