What did you give your special "SOMEONE" for Christmas???

I gave Kyle a new work watch, new black work pants for his new job, a BOX FULL of candy bars...all his favorite, undies that he asked for a new book, and that's about it.  We told each other we weren't going to spend much on each other and I stuck to my end of the deal....HE DID'NT!

The girls and I all went in together and got my Daddy a new video camcorder.  He had tons of videos he took when the girls were born and growing up and was still trying to use his dinosaur of a VHS recorder to record Christian.  The battery doesn't work and was not replaceable since it's over 20 years old so he would have to plug it into the wall to use it.  Bless his heart....he was SO EXCITED to get the new camcorder.

So, what did you get your "SPECIAL SOMEONE"?

My husband has many (expensive) hobbies so he is both easy and difficult to buy for.  There are plenty of things to choose from, just a matter of can I afford it.  He plays the guitar (has 6 electric and one accoustic) and also plays golf.  I got him some recording headphones, a 20' guitar cable and some other guitar stuff and a bunch of golfing stuff.  He's so hard to buy for because if he sees something he wants/needs, he just buys it.  I also got him a new pair of sneakers just cuz I was tired of looking at his old worn out ones, and some new socks (romantic and exciting, huh).  He also got some casual shirts and some work pants and a some type of music recording equipment from his mom.  He was happy with all that he got.  He was good all year so he deserved it.  LOL.

I got my special someone...my Mom...a Vera Bradley set...I got her a Purse, a wallet, a cell phone holder, a check book holder, and sun glasses holder ~ all in the print she asked for.  It wasn't too costly since I watched the Vera Bradley website for the deals.
She was VERY, VERY pleased with her gift!!!

AWESOME!  I got the girls the VB ID Keychain holder and a med. cosmetic bag.  They both LOVE VB.  After you posted about the site, I remembered that I'd ordered from there before and I went and watched for those sales too.  They've got great sales.

I love love love Vera Bradley!  I have almost everything in Night Owl and Mesa Red.  I saved a ton on the Mesa Red stuff because it is being discontinued.  My son liked it so much that he got his gf a Ver Bradley purse and wallet for Christmas (Caffe Latte).  Which print did your mom get?

I bought Dad a roomba and a parallel Bible.  The roomba is vaccuuming as I write.  It did not come with a remote, so I ordered it onliine last night.  This roomba is programable, so we can have it vaccuum every day from the approximate time he goes to Chino's until just before he gets back.  It should keep the floors clean,  if he remembers to empty the dust bin on it.

Those Roombas sound so cool.  I have always wondered how well they work.  It would probably freak my cats out if we had one...LOL.

Dogs and cats don't like the noise.  However, they work very well for daily maintenance.  They do not do corners well, but they do vaccuum under the bed  and most furniture.  You do have to make sure that they cannot get tangled in electric cords, etc...but that is not a problem for the most part.  This one cleaned most of the floors in the house much better than the house keeper did and in record time.  The best part was that neither Dad or I had to do anything other than watch it work.

I started out with the very first one that was made.  They are now in  the fifth generation of vaccuum cleaners...and each one is better than the previous.  I would recommend them for people who are working and can just turn them on and leave...or for someone who has difficulties sweeping or mopping.  I love the Scooba, which I also have.  It cleans very well.  However, if you have a heavy stain, like spilled orange juice, or something sticky, you will have to spot that with a sponge to get it clean.  Neither of them pick up stones, wire ties, screws, tacks, or similar things.  Thread can be a problem in the brushes, but it is with any vaccuum.  The floor even has vaccuum cleaner track marks so people can tell you vaccuumed....heeheehee.
