TO ALL MY FRIENDS.....

Just want to wish all my friends a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday season.  Wish everyone a very healthy New Year.
I am still waiting on my insurance to make a decision to either agree or disagree with the realize band surgery.  I have done all the evals, gathered up all the medical records, and now my surgeon's office staff is gathering all the information to send to the insurance company.  I am ready to do this surgery to improve my life, tired of being fat, no energy, and all the rest of the side effects of being obese.  Will keep everyone posted on when the surgery is scheduled.

Hang in there farmgirl!  It took me about two years to get approved for my surgery and it was so frustrating and demeaning and the way the insurance company treated me was horrendous, but they finally had to approve me and it was done.  I didn't think it would ever happen and now it's been over 3 years since I had my WLS.  So hang in there!

Hi farmgirl58.   I am betting that you have done everything just right, and that your insurance will approve your surgery on the first try.  That is what just happened to me a couple of weeks ago.  The call came while I was Christmas shopping in WalMart, and I got so excited and nervous that I just left my basket in the aisle where I had been shopping and went to the car to call my husband!  My surgery date is probably going to be January 19. 
I am headed to Tennessee and Alabama next week to spend New Year's with my husband's family.  Happy New Year and I will keep my fingers crossed that you will hear something soon!
