Gisela?
Hi Gisela! I haven't checked the board that much this week so was wondering if you've heard anything from Molly? I've been praying about her.
Ironically, the other night I was driving home and there was a dog on the road just standing there looking lost. I drove around a few times and he was still just standing there and cars were flying by. I stopped and put him in the car with me and was hoping he needed a home, he was so cute. However, he had a collar with a Florida area code...850, I think it was...and his name was Chewbaca and that's exactly what he looked like except he was a beautiful blonde color. I called the number and an elderly man picked up and didn't say hello or anything...just "Do you have my dog?" real pitiful like. I said I sure did and I took it to him. He was from Florida up here visiting relatives and had been to Illinois to see some twin grandbabies that had just been born and Chewbaca had gotten lost, probably when he went out to pee or something.
Anyway, they were reunited and I was so glad I had stopped and rescued him. I was glad he wasn't needing a home after I took him home. He peed on my favorite shirt on the floor and then my allergies started acting up and I don't have a fenced in yard so would have to put him on a leash every few hours to take him out to do his business, even though he didn't seem to think he needed to go OUT to do his business. So I was glad he had someone who didn't mind him peeing on things and wasn't allergic. But he sure was a cutie pie. Had an underbite and was friendly and just precious.
Anyway, I was just wondering about Molly and wondered if she had found her way home.
Love you, my friend,
Joni

Thank you Carmen! That is such good news! I have had such a heavy heart thinking of our Gisela losing her baby. I am so glad she is home! I don't guess she gave Gisela an explanation for her disappearance?
Dogs and cats just kill me sometimes when they go away for days and then they just come back like oh hello, did you miss me, where's my food...not realizing how upset their humans were.
You have a merry, merry Christmas too Carmen!
Love you!
Joni
