Feeling better

I am feeling better.  I got 25 dozen cookies of five different types done today.  Picked out the paint for the house and bought wallpaper for the utility room.  Stripped the utility room of wallpaper and got it ready to paper tomorrow.  I will just hang paper until I get tired and then go take a nap and go back to work.  Just happen to find wallpaper for $3 a roll and border for $1 a roll.  The price on the paper was nearly $30 a roll.  Lowe's here in Cleburne is closing out their paper.  Really a good deal and a pretty paper that doesn't really say male or female.  It is a pearlized blue, green, beige, white muted design.  It is going to be a pretty room, especially when I hang some pale blue or green curtains.  I am thinking blue.  Beige will be ok, if I cannot find what I am looking for. 

My dad is easy to please.  He has not been able to decide what color he wanted in the house.  Then tonight I collected paint chips and we compared them to the tile and carpet in the house and that determined what we would do.  It will all be earthtones except for the bathroom and the utility room.  However, the utililty room will blend well with the rest of the house.  The violet bathroom would not blend with anything, ever.  However, it does not have to do so.

Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery.  Sounds like you got lots done!  Doesn't it make you feel good to tick things off your list?  I had friends over for dinner tonight.  Have to rehearse tomorrow with some singers fro Christmas Eve service then try to finish up the last little shopping I have.
