Christmas wishes
I want to wish you all a safe and happy holiday/New Year--but I do come here to respond into a earlier post on Christmas wishes..
Well, those of you that last remember seeing me at the Luverne get together 2 years ago might remember my sister ( not blood) that was with me. We have been friends for years and are close and treat eachother as sisters....anyways.
I am asking you keep her mother in your prayers. 2 years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Well she has fought it and fought it--she was in remission for sometime up tiil recently. At this moment she is in the hospital fighting it off again and doesnt know if she will make it home let along through Christmas. Well -- my sister is defistated--doesnt even care if there is another Christmas if she doesnt make it through the year. I try to talk with her--calm her --but of course in those cases she really doeesnt want to hear it--I cant blame her--been there done that with a parent over 10 years ago.
Her mom to me is what I call one tough lady--but she needs lots of love and prayers--not only for her but the rest of that family. The cancer is coming up around her heart in liquid--the doctors had to put what they call a window in her chest yesterday so they could get eay access to the heart area--not a doc so I am not sure what that is about --I went and visted with them yesterday and she was so pale and weak--but hanging in there the best that she could.
Well-- I just wanted o ask that you keep this family in your prayers this holiday....
