FORMAL PIANO LESSONS!!!!!!!!!!

WOOHOO!!!!

I play some by ear but I have always wanted to take lessons.  My sweet Joe told me to find an instructor and he would pay for them this next year!

I AM SO EXCITED!

I hope they can teach this "old dog a new trick"
Faith is NOT believing God can.
It is knowing that God will!

Oh WOW Lisa!!!!  I wish I were close enough.  I use to teach piano years ago when John and I first married.  I wrote lead sheets for a couple of country singers and taught piano in our home.  After I began having children, I stopped teaching.  (The babies would not allow me to teach and rear them ... go figure.)  Anyway...I am thrilled for you.  That is something that I have always loved...playing the piano and several other instruments.  When I get down and out, that always helps.  I wish you all the best in your training and I hope you find a wonderful instructor.  What a GREAT gift.

What a wonderful gift....

Playing the piano is something I really miss.  I started taking lessons when I was in the third grade and have always enjoyed it until I sold my piano.  Now that my daughter is wanting to learn I wish I would have never sold my it so that I could teach her.

You'll love taking lessons.

That's great.  They say that people who are musically (artistically) inclined are supposed to be higher in intellegence (something about stimulating more new neuron pathways within the brain).  I wish I could say I was artistically inclined, but I think I am tone deaf.  Have fun with your lessons and keep us posted on your progress throughout the year.  I have no idea what I am getting this year (for a change),

Congratulations! I always wanted to learn to play the piano, too. My parents couldn't afford lessons (4 kids) and now I don't have the time. I was blessed to be able to be in the high school band, where I learned to play 3 instruments, including my favorite, the French horn.
I know what I'm getting for Christmas, too!! She came back to me last night! My bloodhound, Molly! That's all I wanted for Christmas and my prayers were answered!

Have fun with your lessons.
