I don't have a DH, but have to buy gifts for men all the time.  I bought my dad, who lives alone a roomba vaccuum cleaner this year and a parallel bible that he wanted.  He bought himself a pistol that he wanted with unusual wooden grips.  No, I don't think he bought it anticipating my gifts...heeheehee.  Toolboxes, tool gift sets (good tool, like craftman, channel lock, etc. not the cheap never heard of kind), a good level, new blue ray player, action or comedy movies, new key chain with pictures of the big buck he killed, fish he caught, new car, his favorite hunting dog, and then maybe a single shot of you and the kids.....don't fill it up with too many "family" pictures, Just for fun, one of those electronic key chains with his head imposed on the hunter of the big buck, the iron man contest, superman, etc.  You get the point.  Would be a great gift to enterain him and his buddies for months.  Those kind of sight gags go over big with the guys.  You can find the originals online.

well there is always the universal gifts that both husbands and wives can enjoy like  a new truck, a bassboat, a heated tree stand or even a heated and air conditioned golf cart.....

I know he'll never read this soooooo

I got him mostly Alabama stuff. A new cutting board that looks like a football field, AL glasses for his wetbar, a bag to hold all his plastic grocery bags and a big huge bird feeder painted crimson and white. He always askes for underwear, so he'll get those too. Not sure what else I'll get him...probably a t-shirt reflecting what a great season we had this year.

He's hard to buy for, so I always try to get him something he wouldn't buy for himself. I'm really excited about the bird feeder. He loves wildlife and has bird boxes all through his woods and other feeders, but none like this one!

Good luck to you!

He got a digital camera.   He has taken pictures of everything but the trashcan and I am not so sure about that

Mine got a new truck but he's the one that bought it... LOL. Other than that, we arent buying anything for each other until we get back in the house, then it remains to be seen if we will have the money to buy anything.

I'd suggest a GPS. That is what I was going to buy... but it is on the back burner for now.

Mine got Alabama gear, 2 pullover fleece jackets (to work out in the weather in!) and a Black & Decker mega flashlight.  There's something to be said about Black & Decker items and power tools...men just LOVE them!!!
And oh, cologne.  He is out of it, so he is getting 2 bottles from me.
I always stuff his stocking...so, I get Reese Cups (his favorite) and other odds & ends to go in there.
