New to Ozark Al

Hello every one, I just moved here to Ozark Al and I was wondering if anyone knew of a support group.  I am almost 6 years out and really need the support so I can stay focused.  email at [email protected]  Thanks so much

WELCOME to the AL board family. Sorry I dont know of any support groups in your area. We do have some of this board members that lives around  that area, so maybe they can answer your question. Hi Cyndie,

There is a support group or actually two I think in Dothan. The main one is at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. They meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month and have a dinner and usually a program. You can contact Belinda Herring in Rehabilitation Services at SAMC about that one.

I think they have one at Flowers too, but I don't have any details on that one.

Sorry I can't help you with the support group meeting times. I know they meet at SEAMC, but not sure when. I live close to Dothan but my job has me working such strange hours I'm never able to go.
