Well guys, I made it through my first day/night of working two jobs. Got home a littel after 11p. Took a bath & relazed for a few minutes. Went to bed and couldn't sleep. Kept on thinking about work, hoping I had accomplished all I meant to yesterday. Anyway, I got up this morning wuth a terrible headache, light headed, dizzy, weak and thirsty. I was wondering what in the world is wrong with me as I was trying to make chocolate oatmeal cookies for a Christmas Party we are helping sponsor from work. It hit me, I had not eaten since 11:30a yesterday. I was busy yesterday mornign and didn't eat breakfast. I grabbed a flatbread from Subway on my way to New Albany. It was.... so I just pulled the chicken out and tried to eat it. It wasn't good either. I ate a small handful of cashews on my back from New Albany and only had coffee yesterday morning and two glasses of  tea ALL day!! Boy am I paying this mornign for livign in the fast lane yesterday. Made a effort to cook breakfast this mornign. I ate a couple pieces of bacon, half a scrambled egg and a pieceo f toast. Had my cup of coffee and have started on my liquids. Man, I don't want to make myself sick!! I guess I need to tie a string around my finger as a reminder to eat. Hope all have a good day!!!!

You need to keep your strength to work 2 jobs.  I went to Subway the other day and got a flatbread with chicken.  Mine wasnt good either.  I put it in the trash.

I Don't work two job like you do, but I do work long hours that are not conducive to eating.  Buy you some cheese crackers and peanut butter packages, some protein bars, small packages of nuts, jerky and string cheese and keep it with you.  If you don't have time to eat, you can still keep your protein up.  You didn't say what you did, so I don't know if you are having to be at a desk,,,which is easier....walking a floor, or doing line work.  Line work is the hardest to get breaks to eat...but you have to do it.  Something simple and quick...eat every break, if you are likely to forget lunch.  Take you B12 and all your vitamins, don't forget them.

I eat the veggie and cheese combos when I order fast food if possible.  Subway and Jimmy John's both have a great veggie sandwich.  I am not a vegetarian, but these go down without much problem and seem to do better for me then their various meats.  The Sammies from Quizno's are good.

If you can find the time, it is a good idea to pack a lunch, or just buy a frozen dinner.  It will stay frozen until you need it if you don't have a refrigator available.  I stick two in an insulated lunch bag and some pudding cups and I am good for about 17 hours.  If you don't want to spend the money for the prepared frozen dinners, I sometimes just freeze my own and them microwave at work.  Nearly every place has a microwave these days.

Maybe some other people have some hits that will help.  I have found that we need to take fook in the form of crackers and peanut butter or those little cracker and cheese things with us everywhere so we won't get too hungary or if there is nothing to eat.  I definitely take stuff when I travel, so I will have something.
