Memories

I reached under my bed tonight to get a pair of shoes and spotted a flashing light.  It was on an answering machine that had gotten shoved under the bed and forgotten.  On that machine was the sweetest voice of an angel.  It was the voice of Donna Taylor.  By the time code, Donna left the message for me just hours before she passed away.  Her last words were "I'll talk to you in the morning". 
Donna, you are so missed

I think of Donna often.  The last post that she made on OH was to me. I also have that one saved. 

I know that I miss Donna a great deal.  I am sure that she is much safer now and healthier than ever before. 

What a great friend to remember.
Her birthday was last Sunday so she has been on my mind alot lately.
She is always with me. She has made such an impact on my life!

Donna most likely did drag me under that bed to see the light. We always had a joke about my dust bunnies and could she have one as a pet   If you didn't know Donna then you missed having a genuine friend.  She had the innocence of a child but the wisdom of an old person.

I hope she thinks of me because I sure think of her.

Donna was my secret pal last spring and she had given me a beautiful necklace with a cross..  I think of her fondly when ever I see it

Gosh, what a sweet memory...I didn't realize her birthday was a day after mine!
She is in a much better place than any of us and 100% whole with complete health!  Just think, one day we will see her again!!!

My memory of Donna is of us being at the Reunion, and I had a sore on my foot.  She was SO CONCERNED about my foot, telling me how she wore Birkenstocks to keep from having blisters/ulcers on her feet and that I needed to get me a pair Birkenstocks to keep my feet healthy.  That really touched me that she would be so concerned about my health/well being!
