Day of R-E-S-T~

After a wonderful morning at church and a SS party following, I came home and slept for 3 yes THREE hours.  I NEVER take naps.  I was so exhausted, I just crashed.  It's been a wonderful and restful day here in the Felts household. Kyle and Jill napped too.  Jill worked  morning and evening shifts today, so she got a short nap in between.

I did the same!  After the two morning churches we took the college kids out to lunch.  I came home, fed and walked Biscuit and then we settled down for a long afternoon nap!  I did have to go back to church for a short Taize service - a brief prayer service featuring chants and candlelight, scripture and prayers.  Lasts only 30 -40 minutes.  a very meditative and relaxing service.  Founded by the Brothers of a monastary in the south of France.  Look it up on the web - Very interesting.  Tomorrow is my REAL day of rest.  At some point I guess I need to BEGIN Christmas shopping....

Glad to hear you FINALLY got some rest. You have been one busy woman.  I was running around trying to get a dozen things accomplished yesterday and only one thing didn't get done...my pedicure.  Of all things, the one thing I needed the most!  LOL.  That is my one big monthly indulgence.   I love my pedicures.  We rescheduled it for Wednesday and trust me, I will make time for it then!

I enjoy a good afternoon nap.  Glad you enjoyed your nice LONG one!
