I am so sick!!!!!!!!!!!

Please take care of YOU!!! Rest and do not worry about candy, etc....you still have time to get things done!! Hope you feel better real soon and have a wonderful visit with your dad. (My dad has been gone almost 17 years and I miss him every day!!)

Karla, Neosporin is great for the  chapped nose and a neti pot may help with the stuffed up head, its worth a try. I also put a few drops of peroxide in my ear when I'm sick, check with your doc to be sure, but these are a few things I try when I.m sick,

Thank you for your kind thoughts, wishes and prayers.  I feel a little better this morning.  I did have sense enough to bring one of those sinus cleaning gizmos and that has helped a lot so far today.  I am resting and not planning on doing anything constructive.  I have had a flu shot, so I am a little surprised at getting this mess.  I am using old fashioned vaseline for my chapped skin and that seems to be working.  It's a little greasey, but hey, it works.  I have two different kinds of tylenol products to work with and that seems to be helping, too. Thank you for the hints and suggestions.  I may give some of them a try, too.  Anything to feel better and get back on my feet.
