My surgery is tomorrow!! Can't believe it's here...got my call this afternoon and my surgery is set for 7:15AM. Wish me luck! :)
That is tomorrow!! Squeeeee. That is super exciting. Good luck! It is totally here. I hear that the preop is so much worse than post op diet because before we still have the hunger and the cravings and the idea that we might never be able to eat certain foods again. All that behind ya. =)
Hey everybody! I am late to the board, but that is because I only just got my surgery date and it is SOON. I am going under the knife December 16th for a band to bypass conversion. I am excited and nervous and ready and freaking out and all of that. Looking forward to shared journey!
My surgery date is December 17th. I can't believe after all the thinking, contemplating, wishing, and mulling over it's finally almost here! Not looking forward to the actual surgery but I have been through 2 c sections so I think I can deal. Just looking forward to so many of the changes....I could go on and on!
I am squeezing in just under the wire. My date will be the 30th. I just got my list of pre-op foods that I will start in a week or so. I am buying as much of it tonight as I can. Payday... LOL 
Anyway, which liquid tastes the best? Looking for suggestions.
Good luck all of you, I am nervous too. I wish I was done with it already. The wait is nearly unbearable.

December 17th same as you !!!!! I'm beyond excited ~ Had my LAST appt. with the doc and nutritionist today, all my tests and labs and xrays are done. WHEW ! I"m ready !!!!

So we have the same surgery date, that's cool. What time is yours? I have an 8am slot, with check-in at 6am. Omg, the big day is right around the corner.

I had that pre-op class also. It was a little over two hours. It was very informative, but the closer I get, I develop that nervous feeling. I'll get it together though. It is still an exciting time for me. Thank you for your kind words.
