What did ya eat today - Thursday?
Hi Gang!! How did you do today with your eating??? I am doing ok so far I think. I am feeling the "bloat" from Aunt Flo's visit though.. why does she have to pop in every month.. argh. I am still on the nuvaring and I always start the thursday before I remove the thing.. i hate that.. means I prob am dropping in my hormone levels a tad early. OB doesn't think its enough that it would make me pregnant but doesn't know for sure.. argh. I already switched from the pill for the same issue.. so I donno what else to do.. talk about many methods to be used at once! I think I got off topic.. so sorry.. here is what I ate today ;)
B: Pumpkin protein pancakes with SF syrup and light whipping cream. (I posted the recipe on an earlier post).
S: EAS cafe caramel shake
L: Leftover chicken fajita stuff from last night. 3 oz chicken breast, 4 strips of pepper and onion on a small LaTortilla whole grain tortilla. 1 tbsp of sour cream and 2 tbsp of black bean salsa (walmarts brand.. YUMYUM! love it!!)
S: pudding or latte?
D: Not sure yet.. maybe a chicken sausage with smoked mozz/artichoke and some green beans?
S: mini bag of popcorn.
Sounds pretty good, Melissa! We had an ice cream social at work today and my sweet, kind boss bought me nsa ice cream, sf fudge topping and some bananas. So i had a mini banana split and it was delish!!! Haven't decided what to have for dinner but here's the day so far:
1) frosty protein shake
2) 200 cal prot. bar
3) 1/3 c. vanilla nsa ice cream, 1/2 med banana, approx. 1 tab. sf fudge topping
--half a cafe caramel w/shot of decaf espresso
4) 3 oz. bbq chicken leftovers, 1 handi-snack sf pudding
5) mini bag popcorn, 1 cup marinated cucumbers (yep, exhaustion grazing!)
6) ? Maybe more chicken? Maybe some fresh green beans from the garden?
This was my 'Friday' which gives me a 3-day weekend. Am so very, very exhausted from the last two weeks that i can't even think what I want to accomplish over the weekend other than to get more sleep. One definite goal is to keep the nsa ice cream in the outside fridge and not touch it. I can just do much better without THOSE calories.

We should come up with a way to get rid of Aunt Flo besides being pregnant, don't you think? I would love too.
Here's what I had so far:
B-grilled white cheese, 1 whole wheat wasa cracker, grapes
s-prune with atkins protein bar
L-10 shrimps, 3 whole wheat saltines, 1/4 tomato
s-2 chesestrings and two small bags of chips(sorry, could not resist)
s-nsa added ice cream bar
D-I cooked chicken but I am not in the mood for it, grilled cheese sound much better.
You guys are tempting me so much with the minibags of popcorn that I am going to have to stop at the grocery store tomorrow just to get one.
1. Atkins Peanut Butter Granola Protein Bar (thanks for the tip Melissa)
2. Ham/egg/tomato custless quiche
3. luncable Jr w/turkey chunks, mozz slices and mini ritz crackers
3 oz apple slices
4. 1 light string cheese
1/2 serving of SF Hershey Bar
5. 4 oz steakburger w/onion, tomato & ketchup, no bun
1/2 ear of corn w/ a little butter
small salad w/lowfat dressing cucumber and tomato
6. SF jello w/FF whip cream
926 calories 63 carbs 46 fat 70 protein
I'm pretty proud of myself today, even though the calories are a little high, but we had people over for dinner and I did not touch the tater tots or the pie for desert
B: 3 oz of grilled chicken (I fixed it for lunch and dinner the next couple of nights, but it smelt so good, I had a piece for breakfast)
L: Lean Cuisine something or another.. 240 calories, and 3 carb servings (it made up for no carbs with breakfast!)
S: about 10 bites of light popcorn and 5 whole bran garlic and herb crackers
D: 4 oz of grilled chicken with 6 Italian cheese blend melted on top
S: Yogurt
We went to Red Lobster for dinner and I ate a biscuit...that sent me way over my cals and carbs for the day...but oh well...here goes.
Banana with 1/2 TBSP natural pb
1/2 cup chex mix (cereal only)
8 oz. SF lowfat choc milk
protein drink made with hood's carb countdown milk
5 saltines (this morning/all day sickness is getting old)
1/2 atkins protein bar w/8 oz skim milk
red lobster biscuit, 1.5 scallop, 1 shrimp (grilled), 1/2 lobster tail
cals 1021, fat 29, carbs 112, protein 81
Hey Everyboy! I have missed you - so glad that everyone is doing so well - but of course I wouldnt expect anything less from the Dec. crew!
Trying to get over stress eating ....work is really intense for the next 30 days.... I will take any tips !!?!?
B - Atkins protein bar, 1/3 banana (trying to wean myself off the bananas- too many carbs, sugar)
S - watermelon chunks - 3/4 cup
L - Salad with chicken chunks and bruschetta topping (from COSTCO - I love it!)

1 spinach pancake with dollup of light sour cream
S - SF fudgesicle
