Hi sweetie, Hope this year brings you nothing but sunshine. I've been down with the 'flu for a week. But I'm up and running now. I had put on 7lbs over the holiday's and got it all off. But I just can't get any lower, no matter what I do. Up this, down that, round and round. So, I am just going to work on maintaining it. I know we're not suppose to weigh every day, but it keeps me on track. I allow myself 5lbs fluctuation for fluid, etc, but more than that, and I back off whatever. I keep the carbs to before 2pm, so they have time to work off in my system. I know I'm getting enough protein, as all my blood work shows everything is really good. I have stopped eating any sugar free treats. They give me such gas, I can't stand myself. And it's too hard to deal with that at work. I have low carb yogurt for my treat. That uses Splenda. And it gives me natural calcium, like my PCP said to do. I can't take it in pill form due to kidney stones, so I get mine through food. So, there I am. My health is good, my life is busy, and I wear a size 5 ring and 14 clothes. I wore a 14 in 11th grade, and 16 in the 12th. Not too shabby. I guess I just wasn't meant to be thin. Genetic, metabolism, whatever, plays a part, and I wasn't meant to be Twiggy, just Junoesque, I guess. But a healthy Juno. Hugs to all, Nona

Yes, I've noticed the board getting slower. I may not always have time to post but I still come to the sight regularly. I started a new job January 6 for a medical group that is part of a longevity center and spa. I really enjoy it even though it is quite a lengthy drive from my home. I especially like the idea of enjoying the fresh fruit snacks, healthy meals, and the gym which are part of my benefits. As far as the weight loss........it continues at a very slow pace. I started out at 226 and I am now at 114. I'm 5'5" so I look really thin. (It's not always easy to find 0 Regular.) However, these issues are nothing compared to the poor health issues I was facing 14 months ago. I'm so grateful every day for this life saving change. I hope we always find time to post occassionally. You have and continue to be such a wonderful support. With my computer on a fritz and my relationship at home on the rocks and finacially going nuts. I made it back!! Things are begining to look up and I am doing better. I just wanted to say I started out at 382 and now I am at 215 I feel wonderfull!! I hope all is going well for you all!!
