Weekly Weigh In week of 6/18
Hi Everyone,
After about 2 weeks of stalling between 224 - 226lbs. I did move the scale this past week. My trainer had me up my calories (1200 - 1400) and workout more in my fat burning zone instead of cardio zone to burn more fat. He mentioned that I probably was working out much harder than I needed to. So I purchased a heart rate monitor to keep me aware of my 60%-70% of heart rate zone (220-age). I tried all his tips this past week and the scale moved. Thank God!! .
My stats are:
Starting weight - 320
last week = 224.5
this week = 222.6
loss this week = -1.9 (I'll take it)
total loss = 97.4
Beginning BMI = 60
last BMI calculation = 42.7
I am 2.6 lbs from the 100 lbs lost goal. I am hoping to be 100 lbs down by the end of June.
Have a great week
Donna
Congrats to every loser on the board. A special pat on the back to Christy for her at goal accomplishment this week. And Wanda, what can I say girlfriend, LIFE happens. I know you will move in the right direction this week.
Now, as for my stats this week...
Starting weight = 348 and BMI 60
Weight on Day of Surgery = 332.5
Last week = 255.4
This week = 250.4
Loss this week = 2 lbs
Total loss = 97.6 lbs
Since surgery 82.1 lbs
BMI today = 43
2 lbs gone!
Yesterday it was 3 but the Lasagna I made my hubby for Father's day must have got me. Even though I only ate about 2-3 oz. Guess the salt content was a bit high. It was yummie though!
Have a fabulous week ya'll!

Donna, tell us about the monitor! How do you use it? Where did you get it? I would love to know that I was in the fat-burning zone. I never believe the thumb monitors on the treadmills.
to find your target heart rate ---> http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/fitness/tools/heartrate
The heart rate monitor i use and reccomend ---> http://www.heartratemonitorsusa.com/Pages/TZ-2004-Pages/HRM/HRM-model/polar/All.html
Wanda,
I purchased my heart rate monitor at Sports Authority for 109.00. It is the Polar F6, it keeps heart rate, it alarms you of when your heart rate is above or below target zone. It also tells you the amount of calories burned and the % of fat burn per workout. It keeps a weekly calculation, in case you want to know how many calories you burned in a week. I love it. It helps me especially when I workout with dvd exercise tapes and not on my treadmill or bike. I don't trust the heart monitor on my treadmill either.
