Congrats, my surgery partner. Tomorrow is ten months for me as well. I weighed 276 and now way 171. I feel great. I still want to loose another 20 pounds and I would be so happy. I'm 5:9'' so I don't want to much more. But you have done great. keep up the good work. Carol

I have heard the same thing as you. My friend had her surgery 3 or 4 years ago and she can now eat anything but Coke still makes her feel sick sometimes. She can drink Pepsi or Spike or anything else except for Coca Cola. I don't know why but that's how it is with her. So i guess yes it all depend on who it is. Hopes this helps a little. Good Luck. Topic: HELP. A question I haven't seen on here.
Good Afternoon my Nov. Friends O.k. I have a question. I want to know if anyone is feeling or thinking the same thing I am. Since my surgery I have noticed something that I really don't like. I feel depressed a little more then normal and I also have a lot less patience with my kids and I sometimes find my self in a bad mood. My surgent worned me that my hormones would change just like when your pregant. But I don't like this feeling. I see my self yelling at my 8 year old way to much and then when I realize it I let her know i'm sorry and try to explain. She tells me that she liked me more before I had my surgery. What can i do to fix this. I don't like being like this. I know I am stressing for other reason but I was stressing this before my surgery and it wasn't that bad but now I can't stand it. Please give me any advise you can. It will be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance and wish you all the best. P.S. I'm not complaining, I love the way I look now and I am greatful that I have lost 105 pounds but I do realize that I need help with this problem. God Bless You all Carol

Topic: Questions about Dumping
Ok, so I was talking to a girl at work the other day and she was telling me that when you're about a year out you're not as sensitive to sugar or grease as you were in the beginning. Is this true? I know that from person to person results are different and something that will make one dump won't make another dump. But in general, is it possible that you're not as sensitive to things as you once were?

Topic: 10 months out tomorrow
Tomorrow will be 10 months out for me. On the day of surgery I was 414 lbs. Today I weigh 248. A loss of 166 lbs! I am overjoyed and feel so much better. I do not think that words can express the joy I feel over the weight loss!
