Topic: RE: What are your 1 year goals?
hi Sally
My original goal was to be at Dr's goal, but I don't think I am making it...I've hit a stall, a gain (!) and now a stall again in the past 2 months and I'm only starting to recover. I have about 15 lbs to go to his goal so I doubt that's doable, but I want to get as close as possible. At my 6 month appointment my doctor told me that no matter what happens in November, I already hit his original goal for me by losing as much as I had and being overweight and not obese. But I REALLY want to get to the goal weight by the end of the year.
My other goal which is attainable is to be at normal BMI.
Right now to get there I am changing up my exercise and making sure I make the best food choices which isn't always easy!

Hello Sally
I am really hoping to be at my goal weight by my one year anniversary.
I doubt I'll make it being that I have to lose 5 lbs a week to make it.
and I typically only lose 5 lbs per month.

Topic: compiment
I just had the best compliment yet. First of all I work in a bakery dept at a grocery store and I had a person come up to me today and ask me " how do you stay so thin with all this bakery around?" I just about died. I just said I guess I don't eat eat it. But for the rest of the day I had the biggest smile on my face. I can't wait till my hubby comes home so I can tell him.

With November coming up so quickly, I am just curious as to what everyone's one year goal is and how are you doing towards achieving it?
My one year date is the 15th and my goal is to loose another 16 lbs. or about 2 pounds a week. I've been more regular with my exercise and that seems to help.
And you?

Topic: RE: Sugar grams?
Well the advice from my doctor has always been 15 grams or less you will be ok. Between 15 and 30 depends on the individual person, anything of 30 and above is a guarantee dump. I can eat more sugar during my period than when I am not on it. It is weird I know but that is the way it goes. Also I dump more on fat than I do sugar. I also can eat almost anything. BUt it you get that sleepy feeling after you eat that is dumping also it is just very mild so watch for the signs. Believe me I can eat almost any foods as long as the fat content isnt high.
